recently there hav been a wide spread of rubbish comments from friendster where it will auto send a comments wit pic n link. if u click tat link, a virus wil be stored in yr com if yr antivirus not gd enough to block or dont recognise it. for those using Antivirus 2008/ Antivirus 2009, do not use this as this is malicious software.

if your friendster account hav auto send this, tat means your com hav infected wit "Koobface" virus.

Thank you for contacting Friendster Customer Support.

If spam messages are being sent from your Friendster account and you did not send them, or if you are receiving spam messages from your friends (and they claim they did not send them) then this could indicate that you or your friend’s computer has been infected by the recently discovered “Koobface” virus.

Take one of these steps to correct the issue:

IF SPAM MESSAGES ARE BEING SENT FROM YOUR FRIENDSTER ACCOUNT AND YOU DID NOT SEND THEM:
1.Immediately change the password of your Friendster account
2.Run an antivirus program on your computer to disinfect this virus and prevent further infection. DO NOT use or install Antivirus 2008/ Antivirus 2009; this is malicious software

IF YOU ARE RECEIVING SPAM MESSAGES FROM YOUR FRIENDS (AND THEY SAID THEY DID NOT SEND THEM):
1.Mark the message as spam in your Friendster account
2.Inform your friend they may have been infected by the “Koobface” virus
3.Have your friend change their Friendster account password immediately

hi.. i have received many stupid comments in which my friends did not even send it. it is about some nude pictures with links. it's being starting to pass it around very fast. i have attached a screenshot of it.

so i hope that this you can stop this by finding out who is behind this. hopefully that you can treat this seriously. i don't want friendster.com to be like this where hackers can be easily access to accounts and send nonsense pictures or links.

IF users follow the 'download' link, they will download "flash_update.exe" which is a copy of the worm. The worm also attempts to connect and download additional malware from external
domains.

but than ytd google search again n found a 90 days trial at this page! it is at the comments below tat other ppl provide. sadly the post tat person mention did not work. cos it is 2 mths ago..mayb we r too late?

yeah...time to hoot smth during SITEX show which happens on 27 to 30 dec! lucky stil managed to save some to hoot!

b4 SITEX, vr-zone already out wit some pricelist. so saw this good deals on DVR which is selling @ $99! usual price is $199.

since it is only for 1st 30 sets, i will be the 1st to buy! so reached there at around 10.30am. only half the carpark is full. when it reaches 11am, doors open n everyone rush in to get the 1st look. for me, i rush to ACRyan booth lo..

alrite, brought everything[DVR player, notebook cooler], so went around the show, wanted to buy double layer dvd disc, but didnt c leh. so than went to get a lucky draw ticket! in this case, i only get 1 chance. only for every $100 spent than 1 lucky draw.

ok..so got out around 1130am like tat. wow..at tat time the whole carpark already full liao! anyway its really traffic chaos on sat n sun..

got 2 items only, so BIG bag lo..

so take it out..in the end, the notebook cooler dont looks gd to use, so sell it away. but the 2 free UV LED fans stil wit me!

ahh..uh! the DVR player.

tested it out n it looks gd!

but if u wanna better ones, would be this:

sadly tat i not enough money to also buy UDock.
so no choice got to buy at SLS..

got it on tue! yeah..after finish sch, rush down to SLS. reached there, raining..so sian. lucky is small rain, so doesnt matter! brought it @ $65. actually usual is $69. but guess wat? got a reply from acryan n they change their price to $49! wtf! they hav changed their price is becos they hav gone direct, which means Corbell(actually their distributor) will no longer be distributing, thus cheaper price! haha..
